New
Year brings new joy to your life and another reason to have a reunion with your
gold (old is gold) friends. Sahil Patel is one of those people with whom
I share this magical bond in which the other person understands your feeling
without asking for it to you. We drafted a New Year reunion but as usual it
happened late in the second week of the New Year.

The
reunion occurred at Vijay Nagar as he’s a student of Prestige Institute of
Engineering and the location was in route to both of us. We had fast food
brunch together then went through the life of Phogat sisters at Mangal City.
In
last the day turned to be the best of yet 2017 due to two things: one I had
reunion with classy friend after a long time and second I found a new
food station for myself where I can taste a lot of variety in Sandwich to
Coffee to Sticks along with enjoying few of my favourite activities like
playing UNO, Chess, Dart and so forth.

The
first thing which caught my attention as soon as I entered the Metro Café
Club; my new food station was its ambience; the rich interior and soft
music in the background tells a story of their own, which attracts you to enjoy
time over there and listen their story. People sitting inside were enjoying the
story.
Cushions
with food quotes made me hungrier and laugh on the same moment. Artistic
materials allowed me to dive into the beauty of art.
We
had comfortable seats and started chit-chatting about our new projects. A young
man reached us “Good morning brother, what would you like to have?”

“What
do you special have over here?”
“Everything
over is special. We have a wide variety of sandwich and coffee. In sandwich we
have Metro Special Sandwich and Pizza Cheese Sandwich, in Maggi
we have Tandoori Maggi, in sticks we have potato sticks, a wide
range of Italian Pasta, and Chips Chat. We also have yummy
shakes. What would you like to have?”
“What’s
metro special sandwich?”
“We’ll
cut one sandwich into four different parts and each part will taste different;
and you’ll love it”
“Give
us a moment to look into the menu. We’ll call you.”
After
looking into the menu, I was surprised to see an ample variety of sandwich,
coffee, Maggi and shakes.

In
the end, when we asked him about drinks the young man said they have Red Bull
which according to us nobody else have in Vijay Nagar.

Next
evening I again visited metro with my college friends to show them my new food
station and their early reaction was ‘this is just awesome’. ‘It’s
fantastic’ cheered one from horde.
One
more enchanting thing appeared at metro in evening which was not there in morning
visit and it was evening open house. The colourful lights on trees, artificial
garden, the night sky and crowd (mainly in couples) made the open house refreshing.
The open house was just exotic and added more charm to the rich ambience.
“Welcome
again brother” the young again welcomed me with a broad smile. Later on, on
interacting with other customers and knowing their review about the place in
curiosity, I came to know that many of them have multiple visits in a single
day; for morning coffee, afternoon tea and evening snacks. Like I was referred
here by Sahil, I referred my college friends, the community is new and getting
bigger.

Now
coming to the title, I’ve visited many places in past few months for afternoon
tea and evening snacks but the uniqueness I found over here is the BEST. The friendliness in staff, the rich ambience,
ample variety of food, building community and of course the affordability made
Metro my first and the BEST choice.
